Internal Affairs Nominations for the Ministerial positions are under way, although I'm not actually sure when the final elections/appointments take place. Some good updater I am... HalKu, a new nation who said he was an experienced RP'er was exposed as to his real identity, namely one The Chosen Nations who was booted in December. Nice try. We expect him to try again soon, though. Our re-vamping discussion is still going apace. Please check the link to see what is going on, and if you can help. Foreign Affairs Still sorting out who goes where, and removing embassies that are inactive. Both The North Pacific and Greece have been removed. Vanarambaion has volunteered to be the diplomat to GB&I, and other positions have been filled, but there are still some more to go. Roleplay The Deltannian Civil War, Ide Jima's Historical 1932-1956 Long War thread and the Nimarci WMD Conference are still going strong. The HalKu/Tagmatium Nuclear Power thread has more-or-less stopped, due to HalKu being exposed as to who he really is. Nevareion Nova, the Q102 colony in Europa, is having ministerial elections, which, after a slow start, is now witnessing quite a lot of international interest. See it here. Numbers At my last check, we were well into the 270's. This is the first time ever Europa's reached this sort of number. Hip-hip! Horray! Etc. Well done us. Internal Affairs Well, we've our senatorial candidates become senators. There was too few to hold an election, as if one didn't get in we would only have a tiny senate, defeating the point. This lack of interest in the Senatorial elections has led to the production of a thread on the future of Europa, and how to get the many new members active on the forums. Here it is. (That should work. I'm usually incapable when putting working links into things ) It includes a discussion on how to get more people roleplaying, and catering for new members. Numbers
After a period of intense recruiting, we crested the 260 mark last night. We've dropped back to 259 today, but we can get back up there.

Internal Affairs
With people putting themselves forward as candidates for the Senate, the elections can't be that far away. Coupled with this, the Ministerial positions will be filled soon after.

Foreign Affairs
As well as GBandI approaching us for a consulate, the region of England has as well. We will hopefully be opening ones for them soon-ish.

We're also looking for ambassadors from us to all the regions who have active consutates or embassies in our region. This includes opening one in Canada.

Roleplay
A lot quiter this week, compared to the much more busy other areas of Europa.

Several new nations, HalKu, Ylania and Sci, have opened threads variously on trade, new alliances or joined one of the "Big Three", the Coalition, the Alliance or the League.

The Deltannian Civil War and The Long War still continue.

Numbers Well, we're up to the 240's, again. Which is really nice. We crested 250 at one point, so we will hopefully get past that milestone either this week or the next. That, hopefully, will be end of our down turn, and the last stains of our summer wiped away. Internal Affairs Same old story We had planned to get the senate elections in the first week of January, and then the senate would be able to appoint the ministers. It's now the second week...
